Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Sydney. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.

We are now looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our product development team in crafting beautiful product solutions that make the complex seem simple!

How you will make an impact
At Epidemic Sound we are constantly increasing and improving our portfolio of global products where the common denominator is our music. As a Product Designer, your responsibility is to secure lovable feature releases with your visual design chops and great UX-skills. You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to polishing details ahead of the launch. Apart from designing you will also participate in user research and be the source for insights, by actively collecting and articulating user needs. You will, together with other product designers, own the design process, design guidelines and other tools to secure a consistent, on-brand, user experience between autonomous product teams, and give and solicit feedback in order to continually raise the bar for our design quality.

As part of the Music Production team, you will work closely with product owners and developers in self-organized product teams, responsible for products that link musicians and report to the Head of Product Design. The position is located at our HQ in Stockholm.

Who you are
To thrive in this role you are likely a product-focused designer with a broad palette of UX and UI skills who thrive in team-based environments. As a person, you are detailed orientated, curious, and take pride in your work. You have a can-do attitude, being driven by your curiosity and creativity. You are able to work conceptually and clearly communicate your vision to build awesome products in close collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

It would be music to our ears if you are/have:

  • At least 5 years experience as a Product Designer with a focus on User Experience
  • Experience managing end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience from working in atomic design systems
  • Strong interaction design/system design skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Experience working close to a production team is highly desired
  • Understanding of front-end programming, animation or prototyping is a plus
  • Experience working in Scrum/Sprint is a plus

Lastly, you have an online portfolio or PDF with case studies of projects and design implementations, that you can’t wait to share with us!
