Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of thousands of videos on online video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and Instagram. We're looking for a music expert to join the Operations/Customer Success team as Music Curator. As a Music Curator at Epidemic Sound you will be focusing on curating content for our player and customers.
Your job will be to ensure that our users worldwide always have the right music at hand for their projects.
This will include tasks like:
- Create and develop playlists, concepts, and albums towards various content objectives
- Perform music searches on request from external clients as well as internal departments
- Meet clients/editors to demo the ES player, educate and inspire everyone on how to find the right music for their needs
- Analyse music data and drive projects based on insights
- Manage distribution of playlists/albums in the ES Player
- Write engaging and appealing copy for playlist and album descriptions and other music-related areas
This is a full-time position based at HQ in Stockholm and report to Customer Success Manager.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has a tireless interest in a broad variety of music, as well as deep knowledge in one or two specific genres (for example: electronic, orchestral). If you have a passion for music, TV, Film, Soundtracks, Youtube etc. you will be a great addition to our amazing team.
You are interested in, and have some previous experience working within the music industry for example sync, playlists, music editorial content. You are confident in your ability to separate "the wheat from the chaff" in terms of music quality and fit. To be successful you will need to look beyond your daily tasks and feel the rhythm of a constantly changing company and a global industry with many twists and turns.
As a person you are outgoing, extremely creative, self motivated, efficient and a team player. You are not afraid to express your ideas and there’s no end to your creativity. Previous experience from music supervision, labels, music tech, production companies etc. is a big bonus. Fluent English language and correct grammar is required.
