We are now looking for a Social Media Channel Manager to join our Social Media team!
As Social Media Channel Manager at Epidemic Sound you will implement and maintain online marketing strategies with the target of growing our social media channels, brand awareness and ultimately drive new sales for the business.
You’ll be working with key stakeholders to understand the needs for each platform and to plan and optimize content and more specifically be responsible for our content/ distribution calendar on the platforms that you’re responsible for.
Besides planning and publishing content organically you will also plan and publish paid/boosted social campaigns together with our paid social specialist, and our in-house team will help produce copy, graphics, and video assets to support social media activities.
You would be a part of Epidemic Sound’s social media team that consists of different social media experts. Through our social media presence, we aim to contribute to empowering creators to achieve creative and commercial success and to create and share their stories across time zones, borders, audiences, and channels.
We are active on multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube (24 channels with individual target audiences), LinkedIn, Twitter, and always eager to try new ones that fit our strategies.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a social media native with experience in social media marketing. Since this is a role that focuses a lot on strategic scheduling and planning we believe that being well organised and attentive to detail is important as well as having a passion for content!
- Building channel specific strategies based on overall strategies and guidelines
- Performance reporting
- Monthly and quarterly content planning
- Managing a channel coordinator
Key skills and experiences for success:
- Managed a company’s Social Media presence
- 3+ years’ experience within the digital field
- Experience in channel strategies and -optimization
- Analytical thinking and good reporting skills
- Fluency in English and excellent grammar, writing and editorial skills
- Knowledge in any editing suite for photo and video editing is a plus
