At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog with over 35,000 tracks is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. We are looking for a Product Manager to work in the Core Experience product area (or domain as we call it), joining one of our newest teams. The team's responsibility will be to build experiences that help our users organize, play, and collaborate around our catalog of music and sound effects.
How you will make an impact
In this role, you will cooperate mainly with your fellow team members consisting of full-stack engineers, product designers, and data analysts, but given the nature of the assignment in developing a fundamental part of the user experience, you’ll also have plenty of touchpoints across the whole of our organization.
We believe in autonomy and a strong product focus where you as a Product Manager are the organisational linchpin driving development forward. We believe you achieve this by clearly understanding your users, the constraints of our business, and by strategically and tactically making plans to reach our ambitious goals. You own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and product KPIs for your product area.
You report to the Product Director of the domain and work closely together with other Product Managers within the Core Experience domain, as well as our other domains. You will join a fast-growing product team consisting of skilled Product Managers, Product Designers, and Researchers.
Who you are
We believe you are a self-motivated product management professional with a strong sense of ownership whom we can learn from in a fast-growing product organisation. You take a data-informed experimental and incremental approach to product development but can also think big and challenge everything to make bold bets and create amazing experiences for our users.
We believe you are/have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Product Management within a fast-growing product-focused company
- Experience with building user-centric consumer products
- Experience working in a highly technical environment
- Skilled in Agile and PM methodologies
- A proven collaborator and communicator
- Experience from the music industry is a merit
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
