We are looking for a Bilingual Customer Service agent, fluent in Spanish and English, to join our Customer Service team in New York City. This position will be based out of our New York City office, however we are currently working remotely.
As a Customer Service Representative at Epidemic Sound you will help our fast-growing customer base of YouTubers, publishers, and editors with daily inquiries related to our service. You will connect directly with our customers and have a direct impact on their brand and user experience. The role will include tasks like:
- Focus on the Spanish speaking customers, and also provide help to our English speaking customers as needed.
- Working in Epidemic Sound's support system to help customers with various inquiries over email.
- Filing and reporting different types of inquiries and delegating questions to other departments
- Communicating with tech, music, and sales departments to solve issues as needed
- Keeping up to date with our growing customer base, changes in the product and changes within the department
- Daily administrative tasks for the customer service team
- As needed, help with projects guided by our Globalization team
- Other job assignments provided by the company
This is a full-time position based in New York City reporting to the Customer Service Manager. You will be working closely with our Customer Service coordinators and alongside our global team of customer service agents to help and guide you through your work.
Who are you?
For this position you must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking both English and Spanish. We’re looking for a service-minded person who has a keen interest in customer service and possesses the skills to solve issues for our diverse customer base. Prior experience working with customer service is preferred, as the role will require some second line support. Although you will be working in a team and have guidance and support when needed, you will also be encouraged to seek out answers and be confident enough to resolve complex situations independently.
Most importantly, having the right attitude and not being afraid of change is key to this role, as we are a fast-growing company. We require candidates to have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. Experience with support or other previous administrative jobs, preferably from other SAAS or fast-growing companies is a plus.
It would be music to our ears if you have experience using CRM and payment systems and have a passion for music and storytelling.
