We are now looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our First Impression team in crafting beautiful, engaging product experiences that make the complex seem simple!
How you will make an impact
At Epidemic Sound, we are on a rapid growth journey as we expand globally and bring our service to even more people. As a Product Designer in our Growth domain, you will be at the center of this journey and have a huge impact on how Epidemic Sound is perceived. Your role will be to use your visual design skills and awesome UX skills to deliver endearing experiences to new and existing users. You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming for the next big product innovation to ensure our offerings are market-ready, to fine-tuning before launch.
You will participate in qualitative and quantitative user research and be the source of insights by actively gathering and articulating user needs. Along with other product designers and design leads, you will be responsible for the design process, design guidelines, and other tools such as our design system to ensure a high-quality, consistent, and on-brand user experience between autonomous product teams and provide and solicit feedback to continually raise the bar on our design efforts. You will also be involved in efforts to refine our communications and strategies with product managers, marketing and design leaders.
As part of one of our development teams, you will work closely with product owners, analysts, and developers on a self-organized product team responsible for the user journey, making sure our new and existing users love our products and helping us grow our service globally. In this role, you will report to the Product Design Director for Growth. The position is located in our HQ in Stockholm.
Who you are
To succeed in this role you are likely a product-focused designer with a broad palette of UX and UI skills who thrive in team-based environments. As a person, you are detailed orientated, curious, and take pride in your work. You have a can-do attitude, being driven by your curiosity and creativity. You are able to work conceptually and clearly communicate your vision to build awesome products in close collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
It would be music to our ears if you are/have:
- At least 5 years experience as a Product Designer with a focus on User experience
- Experience managing end-to-end product delivery
- Experience from working with, or creating, design systems
- Strong interaction design/system design skills
- Great communication skills
- Experience working close to a production team
- Experience working in agile processes, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Fluent in written and spoken English
