At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated music library, with over 30,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers no matter what their story is. Countless customers around the world, from broadcasters, productions companies and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of thousands of videos on online video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and Instagram. Our HQ is located in Stockholm with offices in NYC, LA, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Madrid. We are growing fast, we have lots of fun and we are transforming the music industry.
We are now looking for a Project Manager.
We are now looking for Project Manager to join a recently launched team called Epidemic Labs - a central strategic projects team working cross-departmentally, focusing on solving key questions for Epidemic Sound as a company. The team will have a highly data-driven approach and will take on questions such as how we monetize to the fullest extent on the current distribution of our music (i.e. in all the places our music is heard). The team will look into how to optimize conversion of customers and users between our different business areas and to use our existing storyteller network to build listening also on streaming platforms.
The role will be very versatile and you need to be able to work closely with key stakeholders from many different departments internally, e.g. business intelligence, product/tech, marketing, streaming, etc. It is a full-time position based at our HQ in Stockholm reporting to the Head of Epidemic Labs.
What are we looking for?
In terms of experience, we are looking for someone with a university degree and couple of years experience within business development in the music/media/tech industries and/or experience as a management consultant. Experience in working with or towards video platforms such as YouTube and/or music streaming services is considered an additional advantage.
We will be working in a project form, so excellent project management skills are critical - i.e. organizing, executing, collaborating, informing, finalizing and following up. As a person you need be data-driven, analytical, well-organized, solution-oriented and creative. You also need to be a team player, have strong communication skills and be comfortable using tools like Excel and Keynote/Powerpoint.
As with all our recruitments, you should also have a strong interest in music/media.
