Visual Design Lead

As a Visual Design Lead you will be working in partnership with design, marketing and technology and be responsible for hands on driving and executing the visual identity and brand experience in our digital products. This role requires strong expertise in storytelling and interaction, visual, content and motion design to create exciting and long-lasting emotional impact for our users.
How you will make an impact:
Inspire, generate, develop and implement creative ideas that are strategically-informed, channel agnostic, and deeply integrated between all touch-points and product experiences.
Understand brand strategy and translate and extend the brand identity system to digital product touch points.
Highly conceptual thinking in both visual and interaction design and ability to translate concepts into tangible output. We want you to blow us away with your work.
Demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation for system thinking and help to build documentation for others to develop on-brand work.
Consistently up-level the design and quality of our craft by bringing impactful ideas to the table and seeing the best of them through to fruition with an extreme attention to detail.
Foster a respectful and collaborative environment. Mentor designers and creatives.
Proactively identify and solve problems that impact the Epidemic Sound mission.
Turn human insights into implemented design.
We believe you have:
Design and creative direction and execution experience, preferably a mix of product and brand-side in-house experience with various companies.
Portfolio with innovative, impactful and acclaimed work that demonstrates your ability to lead, develop and implement ideas, concepts and designs that resonate culturally and influence business results.
Strategic and Systems based thinking – your work is built upon insights and systems, not simply creative whims.
Collaborative in nature, both within the department and beyond.
Great communication skills.
Empathy for the customer, and empathy for individuals in the team.
