We are now looking for a service minded and analytical doer to join our Business Performance team, focusing on our Enterprise business.
This is a temporary position for 9 months starting from April 1st, 2023.
How you will make an impact
As a Business Performance and Planning Associate at Epidemics Sound, your job is to support relevant teams in making data informed decisions by assisting with business planning, target setting, and tracking. The team purpose is to create alignment and structure from a business metric perspective to empower Growth & GSMT to achieve success aligned with overall company goals.
For this role, whilst you’ll support the teams overall objectives, reporting into Director Business Operations & Strategy, you’ll work closely with the Enterprise department and the SVP Enterprise more specifically.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support SVP Enterprise in governance, maintenance, and continuous optimization of existing and new reporting and analytics applications
Support SVP Enterprise in analyzing and building dashboards on new customer behavior, outlining key performance indicators around usage, churn, and engagement
Improve Finance-related processes from a customer experience perspective
Customer Success Workflow Improvements
Liaison between finance, sales and internal systems department
Continuous governance and cleaning of financial sales data
Knowledge hub and go-to person when it comes to invoicing/accounting questions coming from Sales and Customer Success Managers
Contribute to team OKRs to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved
Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the field
Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time
As a Business Performance and Planning Associate, your work will directly impact the success of the company. By identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, developing strategies to improve performance, and monitoring progress towards goals, you will help ensure the company is on track to meet its objectives. Your analysis and forecasts will also play a crucial role in decision-making and ensuring the company stays within its budget. Ultimately, your work will help the company make data-driven decisions and achieve its goals.
Who you are
We believe you are a service minded person who is interested in both people and administration. You have a great conception of connecting the dots as well as simplifying processes and flows. You challenge former ways of working and are not afraid to suggest new solutions. You will bridge the gaps between sales, finance and our internal systems department, in order to achieve better performance in sales for customer success. It would be music to our ears if you:
Like the meeting between individuals and have great social skills. You see problem solving as something fun and you master communicating complex matters insimple way. Another bonus is if you have a university degree and some years of experience in a similar role but not necessarily in the same industry.
Whilst we are looking for the right mindset rather than experience, we believe the person we will hire for this role has:
A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent, and 2-3 years of experience in a business analysis or financial analysis role
Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify trends and patterns in data
Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets, and previous experience from working with Salesforce or other CRM tool
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Detail-oriented and meticulous to ensure accuracy in financial models and reports
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving performance
