Job description

A Customer Development Representative (CDR) is a sales role responsible for finding new clients. You’ll typically be the first point of contact in our sales cycle, helping our sales & licensing team identify and cultivate leads and license music to a wide range of production professionals. Your role is key for Epidemic Sound's successful expansion in the region!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish quarterly sales goals set forth by management
  • Utilize your complete understanding of Epidemic Sound’s business model and music licenses to effectively articulate the USPs over phone/email and at networking events
  • Identify, create, and qualify leads through various databases
  • Responsible for closing subscription and one-off deals from both inbound and outbound leads
  • Assist in the training of new employees
  • Maintain and optimize data within dedicated CRM database
  • Provide customer support
  • Provide music searches for potential Epidemic Sound customers
  • Create solutions for new/unforeseen responsibilities in a growing market
  • Build and manage our sales pipeline and architect our sales processes
  • Be an ambassador to Epidemic Sound in all aspects of the position

 

 Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent organizational and communications skills
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, CRM, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, etc is preferable
  • Experience in working in sales
  • Demonstrated ability to get the work done no matter what
  • Independent, relentless, self-motivated and social
  • Ready to share your success with others and take a bullet for your team
  • Owner of an analytical and creative mindset
  • An active interest in music and/or media is a big plus
  • Adaptive and not afraid of change within a rapidly growing company
