We are now looking for a Marketing Director for our US Marketing team, to be based in either our New York or LA office, wherever you feel at home!
As Marketing Director, your main responsibility is managing and leading our US Marketing team consisting of in-house production, events, sponsorships etc. in areas such as strategy, target-setting, budgeting, best practice-sharing, recruitment, personnel questions, etc.
You will be working with a strong marketing team responsible for all content creation at Epidemic for external marketing, creation of sales material, video production for YouTube and other marketing campaigns.
You’ll utilize market sizing data and best practices to develop processes and guidelines, ensuring both the sales and online subscription teams are working as efficiently as possible to surpass our ambitious team targets.
This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible. You will work closely with the Global Marketing Leadership team at HQ, you will be based in our New York or LA office and report directly to the Managing Director, North America. You will communicate and collaborate with Marketing teams based at Epidemic’s HQ in Stockholm on a regular basis.
What are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, we believe you are a creative, structured, goal-oriented leader with solid experience of working analytical and data-driven. You are a problem-solver with an agile mindset, not afraid to take on challenges – big or small.
It would be music to our ears if you are/have:
- Minimum 5+ years experience of marketing - from content creation, event activation, conference sponsorship, consumer and business marketing to distribution and lead generation
- Experience working with marketing goals, strategy and execution
- Solid experience in managing marketing teams and campaigns with a proven track record
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a leadership position, managing a team of 5+ people
- Know-how on setting processes and managing team responsibilities
- Strong social/interpersonal and decision-making skills
- You also have a passion for music, video and media of course.
