Countless customers around the world, from broadcasters, production companies and YouTube creators, rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of thousands of videos on online video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and Instagram. Our HQ is located in Stockholm with offices in NYC, LA, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Madrid. We are growing fast, we have lots of fun and we are transforming the music industry.
We are now looking for an ambitious and open-minded person to build relationships with potential partners around the world within the music industry!
As Strategic Partnership Associate you will sell and license our music to global In-Store/Background Music (ISM/BGM) re-sellers. You will be a international lead-representative of Epidemic Sound whilst negotiating potential deals, and a project leader when supporting current partners and customers. You will work closely with the Global Strategic Partnership team and your performance will be essential for Epidemic Sound's future success and expansion.
As Strategic Partnership Associate you will:
- Search, identify and contact potential international partners and resellers in target markets
- Build relationships, sell and negotiate terms
- Research and become experts on the target markets
- Streamline administrative and workflow processes
This role is a full-time position based at our Stockholm Headquarters. It will focus on In-Store Music (ISM) and you will report to the Head of Strategic Partnerships. The role requires you to travel occasionally.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an ambitious person who can do thorough and impeccable market research, but won’t hesitate to pick up the phone when needed. We believe you have a strong desire to learn and a clear professional drive. You have experience from a B2B professional environment like consulting, business development or sales. Preferably you have a university degree in business and it is essential to have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
As a person you are independent, self-motivating, social and great at networking. For us it is also important that you are an entrepreneurial team player with a strong will to learn and develop. You have an analytical mindset and it is a big plus if you have an interest in music and/or TV & film.
