To take our analytics capabilities to the next level, help build our data and business intelligence department, influence the company through data driven insights and change the music industry worldwide we are looking for a highly talented and versatile Data Analyst. Actually. You can call yourself Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Guru, Analytics Enthusiast or Easter Bunny if you like, the thing is: we have data and you are good at data.
How you will make an impact
As a Data Analyst, you monitor and analyze marketing data; enabling us to quickly adapt and iterate on ongoing marketing initiatives. You handle ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives. Together with the team, you evaluate ongoing marketing initiatives, find insights and new angles for how to optimize activities to increase conversion, engagement and revenue. Also, you measure campaigns, report on A/B tests and develop and maintain dashboards for both the team and for other internal stakeholders. The role also includes assisting and coordination other tasks related to Lifecycle Marketing such as growth initiatives and operational improvements.
One of your core objectives will be to help our marketing team better understand their data and apply it in their daily work and decision making by:
- Proactively developing cutting edge analyses and insights to drive decisions and strategies
- Providing reporting and performance monitoring from multiple data sources
- Visualizing and communicating KPIs across the whole group and directly to management
Who are you?
We think you have a passion for data, tech and music, love an entrepreneurial start-up vibe and that you are strong in quantitative analysis, statistics or mathematics. You are a fast learner with a collaborative disposition and have the ability to draw business insights to add real value to the business. You should have recent experience in dealing with large, real-world datasets from a digital, data driven environment, a degree in a quantitative field from a leading university and, foremost, a drive to make an impact.
Other skills we think you have:
- Relevant educational background
- Experience from marketing or/and financial reporting, consulting, modeling and analytics
- Excellent skills and experience with Excel and presentation tools
- Understanding of data selection and analysis
- Experience working with large datasets using SQL and/or other programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience using data visualization to create compelling data stories
- Experience in working with Google Analytics
- Experience from development of Attribution Models is a merit
