At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 30,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Sydney. We are now looking for a Community Manager to be based out of our LA or NYC Office. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Marketing Manager, Streaming, based out of our HQ in Stockholm.
As Community Manager, you will help us further strengthen our relationship with storytellers around the world and take our artists and music to the next level. Your role will be central to our mission of soundtracking the world by connecting creators with our artists and music globally while driving our goals to create the best discovery and reach for our artists and tracks. This means connecting the Youtube-community with Epidemic’s own operated Youtube-channels (+1M subscribers). You will plan and execute campaigns together with creators in your own network on the platform in order to help build and sustain these channels and the tracks and artists featured on them.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Plan, execute, establish and run the Ambassador program for the Streaming team
- Create and document a network of video creators tied to Epidemics music creators
- Plan and execute creative campaigns for Epidemic artists and tracks by activating video creators
- Contribute to building the Epidemic Youtube ecosystem by increasing reach and discoverability through campaigns and strategy
- Own the Epidemic TikTok-channel and its campaigns with creators on the platform
- Build and establish a network of brands and pages on SoMe to activate artists and tracks
- Assist and coach selected artists with their social media strategy
- Further expand the way Epidemic works with video creators by actively exploring new ways of connecting them with our music and channels
Who are you?
Ideally, you have 2-5 years in influencer marketing, social media, and/or you've worked directly with content creators, or have similar experience. We’re looking for a team player that is comfortable managing their time in an effort to reach their goals. You are solutions-oriented, positive, proactive and ambitious and you never leave anything unfinished. You possess excellent knowledge of Youtube and influencer marketing, and enjoy juggling several projects at once. Your people skills are excellent and you’re a naturally social being. You love negotiating and have an empathic approach. Your mentality is that “nothing is impossible”. You will be central to our artist and track release-strategy, as well as play a huge role in building the Epidemic brand and growth. Excellent communication skills in English are required, any additional languages are a huge plus!
