Passionate and driven MarTech Engineer who wants to be part of bringing our Marketing Technology to the next level.
Job summary & Team overview:
The Marketing Technology team focuses on the data engineering and automation aspects of marketing, by creating data products to enable better ads, more precise bidding, smarter budget management, tracking, prediction models, and structured insights-gathering. In this team, you and your colleagues have a unique opportunity to influence how we utilize data to make better business decisions.
We’re big believers in teamwork and we value practices like careful code reviews, knowledge sharing and pair (or mob) programming. MarTech is responsible for all the stages from hypothesis, design, implementation, testing, releasing, and maintenance or all technical initiatives related to our various commercial activities. We architect and build functionality that span the entire data stack, so we pride ourselves on a strong business and product sense.
As part of a small, expanding team, you'll have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact. Your role will not only involve hands-on work with current marketing technologies but also play a crucial part in shaping the team's growth and direction.
Responsibilities:
- Empower and support the wider organization to solve the problems of our users and stakeholders by understanding their needs and coming up with solutions.
- In close collaboration with tech & product manager and the rest of the team, help drive the team’s goal-setting process and pave the way for the team hitting their goals.
- Advocate and advance effective software development practices and help develop and evangelize great engineering, process, and organizational practices.
- Work with business stakeholders, marketing experts, and data analysts to design data models to quantitatively support everything from user acquisition to corporate strategy.
- Partner with data engineering teams as well as product development teams to build the infrastructure and tracking needed to provide data analysis and insights.
- Make sure that there is a high level of teamwork, transparency, and efficiency in collaboration with other teams.
Requirements
- Data Analysis: Skilled in SQL and BigQuery for advanced data querying and analysis.

Programming: Experienced in JavaScript and/or Python for data integration and automation tasks.
- Web Development: Good at using JavaScript for improving tracking and analytics.
- Data Engineering: Proficiency in developing and managing data pipelines to extract insights, although the role includes overseeing data flow processes, the maintenance of the underlying infrastructure is handled by a dedicated central team.
Bonus Skills:
- Marketing Technology: any past experience working with marketing tech tools such as Google Tag Manager, CRM or tracking solutions is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to swiftly adapt to new marketing technologies and project requirements.
- Effective Communication: Skill in articulating complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Innovative in identifying and resolving challenges to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong teamwork skills, working effectively across different departments and with external partners.
