The role

We’re looking for a DRM Operations Specialist, who will manage YouTube Content ID and other DRM tools, ensuring smooth daily operations and troubleshooting DRM issues for Epidemic’s licensed users.

In this role you’ll be handling rights-related disputes, such as false claims and ownership conflicts, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will work in our DRM copyright support helping our licensed users as well as supporting other internal teams with DRM related questions. You will be a DRM expert working with internal and external stakeholders, making sure Epidemic’s daily DRM practices are efficient and meet our business needs. Furthermore, you’ll take part of a bigger DRM Operations team, with two close colleagues who share similar responsibility as you.

On a typical day, you'll provide guidance to users and external parties on copyright matters, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance to protect our music catalog. You'll leverage your expertise and analytical skills to investigate and resolve complex copyright issues, ensuring a fair and efficient process for all stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Work in several different daily workflows managing support tickets, disputes, ownership conflicts and other DRM related issues.

• Work with different platform content management systems such as YouTube’s CMS and Tiktok’s Mediamatch.

• Collaborate closely with DRM Operations and Commercial, as well as other internal stakeholders like Legal and Customer Support.

• Master Epidemic’s DRM practices (including safelisting) and be able to guide our users and troubleshoot their issues. A part of your work will be performed in Salesforce.

Requirements:

• Experience from working with a high volume of administrative tasks.
  
• Interest in digital rights management (DRM) and Music business.
  
• Have a clear understanding of the creator side of YouTube and/or other platforms. Huge plus with experience from uploading videos and understanding of music licensing online.
  
• Excellent at writing and communicating in English.
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience from working at a music publisher or collecting society.

• Experience from using Salesforce is a plus.
