The role
As a Technical Product Manager at Epidemic Sound, you will play a key role in driving the strategic direction and execution of our IT teams. You will leverage your strong technical expertise to collaborate with our Internal IT teams, streamline processes, and ensure our products align with business goals. This role is a blend of hands-on technical problem-solving and high-level strategic thinking, helping to bridge the gap between technology and business needs. You'll work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize roadmaps, and drive innovation, all while ensuring seamless delivery and alignment across the department.
How you will make an impact:
This role is critical to ensuring that IT functions as a unified, strategic enabler of business success rather than just a support function. By bringing together technical expertise, product management principles, and strategic oversight, you will help bridge gaps, increase automation, improve collaboration, and drive impactful IT initiatives that shape the future of the department.
If you thrive in high-ownership technical environments, enjoy working across teams to solve complex problems, and are passionate about making IT more efficient and strategic, this is the perfect role for you. You will deliver in the following areas:
Strategic Alignment & Governance
Partner with IT leadership to develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with company objectives.
Ensure consistency in technical decision-making, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability.
Improve IT governance by establishing best practices and frameworks that drive operational excellence.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Change Management
Facilitate alignment across IT Support, IT Operations, IT Engineering, and Digital Workplace teams.
Lead technical change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions when implementing new tools, processes, or policies.
Improve communication between teams, helping translate technical challenges into business language and vice versa.
Technical Project Management & Execution
Own and prioritize IT-related initiatives, ensuring progress is measurable and goals are clear.
Identify dependencies and risks across teams, removing roadblocks and optimizing workflows.
Support the adoption of Agile best practices while allowing flexibility for different team workflows.
IT Service & Automation Improvements
Drive initiatives to enhance IT service usability, adoption, and overall employee experience.
Identify opportunities to increase automation and reduce manual IT workloads.
Work closely with IT Engineering to streamline and optimize infrastructure and operational workflows.
Internal IT Analytics & Reporting
Improve visibility into IT performance by developing reporting frameworks and tracking key metrics.
Use data-driven insights to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Ensure that IT analytics contribute to better decision-making and business alignment.
Who you are:
A technical leader with a strong background in IT Support, IT Operations, or IT Engineering.
Able to see the bigger picture while also diving into the details when needed.
Thrive in environments where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution.
Enjoy working closely with teams to drive impactful IT initiatives.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT departments, with expertise in strategy, leadership, and cross-team collaboration.
Understand the challenges of IT service management, automation, and infrastructure.
Passionate about making IT more efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Equal opportunity employer
We believe that bringing people together from different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives makes for a healthy workplace, a more successful business and a better world. We value diversity and encourage everyone to come and soundtrack the world with us.
